God’s promise for you is greater than the problem in front of you right now. Join us for the second message in the “Under Pressure” series at Hope City Leeds & York, preached live by Pastor Gavin Gray. We’d love to have you join us this Sunday morning for our livestream at https://yorkshire.online.church/
In this message Ps Gavin looks at Moses’ powerful encounter with God (Exodus 3) to give us 5 keys to set us up for a God filled, God centred, significant 2020.
The Kingdom of God is full of B Roads as unexpected turns and apparent detours in life lead us into the destiny that God has for us. This message will equip you to keep moving forward & how to thrive during those detour moments.
When facing issues in life our prayer is often for God to remove the issue for us. But what if the answer isn’t found in God removing the issue but is instead found in us changing perspective to gain a higher vantage point?
In every F1 race each car needs strategic pitstops to be able to successfully complete the race. The same is true in life; we’re not designed to just keep going & going, but rather God wants us all to have pitstop times of refreshing & renewal in his presence. A pitstop isn’t an indication of failure; it’s a set up for success.
In this message that leans brilliantly into the Ricochet Series, Ps Gav shows us that it is no longer about us being outside the crowd, looking in; its about being on the inside looking out.

Ricochet: Gavin Gray - How to Stand Out in the Crowd
On this first Sunday in our Ricochet Theme, Ps Gavin shows us the significance of seeing chance encounters as moments of opportunity and asks the question ‘what if reaching others is less about parachuting in on a rescue mission and more about finding a well and taking a seat?’

Ps Gavin takes us to the parable of the rich fool who built a bigger barn, and teaches us how we can step into the fuller life God has for us with confidence.
Sheffield Family Pastor Gavin Gray brings a great word on God’s vision – His vision is not just for us to remain and grow in ourselves, but to go into the world and bring others into the relationship we have with Christ.

We believe in a God of miracles, a God who moves mountains with our mustard-seed faith, a God whose breath blows back oceans that we may cross the riverbed. The miracle we can see is based upon not the size of the challenge ahead, but the strength of the God in whom we trust. We cannot let the size of the river dictate our expectation of a miracle crossing, but let the size of our faith, and the volume of trouble we can overcome, be dictated by the greatness and the goodness of our God.
Family Pastor Gav Gray brings an incredible message to inspire us that in the moments where we see the least hope can often be the moments where God brings the greatest miracle – God is not in the business of watching us stand beside the river, he is in the business of bringing breakthrough, to see us cross the river.
